Desktop wallpaper

To download and setup a desktop wallpaper :

  • First find out how big your screen is. To do this minimize any windows open and click with the right mouse button on an empty piece of desktop. A pop-up menu should appear. Select 'Properties' from this menu. A box will appear with tabs across the top. Select the 'Settings' tab and on the right-hand side of the box, it should say 'Screen Resolution' and tell you how big your screen is.

  • Highlight a link below to match your screen resolution and right click.
  • The picture should now load in your browser (this may take a few seconds).
  • Click on the picture with your right mouse button and a menu will appear. Select the 'Set As Background' option.

We will also create screensaver files which you can download.

To download and setup a screensaver :

  • Highlight a link below and right click.

  • Select "Save Target As" from the menu (I don't recommend you open the form from here).
  • Change the directory on the "save as" form if required (for example I have created a web directory in my documents directory on my hard disk for downloading files like this).
  • Select the Save button (no need to change the title).
  • Wait for the file to download (this may take a minute or two).
  • It is recommended that you check this file with an anti-virus package before opening.
  • Run the resulting exe file and it will be setup the screensaver correctly for you.
