Saturday 15th   Urban Saints 2008 training day, "Leading people into the presence of God" at 10am to 3.30pm at Bury St Edmunds (cost £15 per person). The U.R.C guidelines for Safeguarding Children and Young People in the United Reformed Church How familiar are you with ‘Good Practice’ and your roles and responsibilities within it? Have you considered: What your responsibilities are? Where the responsibilities belong?  Whether the required structures are in place for the care of children and young people? The process and methods of effective communication: How do we communicate?  What’s the importance of ‘good’ communication?  Understanding and using communication methods  Blocks and barriers to effective communication Recognising the importance of inclusive communication Monday May 11th 2009: 7 for 7.30 p.m.  November       Saturday 21st   Urban Saints 2009 training day, at 10am to 3.30pm at Bury St Edmunds (cost £15 per person). Plus 6 hour level 2 award in food safety in catering course. Church Grants are available to help cover the cost of certain training events.
